Community Birth Assistant Course
Ready to step into the birth room with confidence? This in-person Community Birth Assistant course provides comprehensive training for those called to support midwives and families during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period.
Over 6–8 weeks, students will complete three classroom sessions and several clinical days covering foundational birth assistant skills including medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, charting, vital signs, the stages of labor and birth, postpartum care, medications, lactation support, risk assessment, and emergency preparedness — all grounded in the midwifery model of care.
Course Dates:
Class One: May 29
Class Two: June 17
Class Three: July 10
Certification is awarded upon successful completion of course exams and proof of current NRP and BLS certification.
Tuition: $495 Payable in three installments of $165. Payment in full is required by the final class.
